The Hudsons' not so silent disco!

The Hudsons’ guests REALLY celebrated their special day! The stunning venue, Swancar Farm Country House, was an idyllic setting for Lauren and Chris's special celebration. Set amidst 250 acres of rolling Nottinghamshire countryside, the beautiful 16th century country house provided a romantic, elegant and spacious backdrop. We found all the staff so helpful, organised and professional - they deserved every single shout out we gave them!

Adam and The Souljiers were even better than we hoped. We’d seen them at The Save the Date event in Nottingham and were very impressed with the act and the music. The event itself was another level, dancing from minute one until the very last encore they interacted with the crowd, got everyone smiling and joining in. It was truly amazing - most guests said the best band they had ever seen and I agree. We would definitely recommend them, indeed already have.

Their first dance was 'This Will Be' by Natalie Cole, which is funky, soulful and happy. We really weren't surprised when everyone got on their feet to join in! It set the tone for the rest of the evening...literally! Everyone was still up when we played the official last song ‘Greatest Day’ by Take That, but clearly weren't done because, in those early hours of the morning when the silent disco headphones came out, the volume did not go down! Everyone was singing their hearts out and dancing until their feet were sore; it's a moment we will never forget!

And if you didn't think all of that was enough, there was more! They had a 'LOVE' ice-sculpture which was engraved with the bride and groom's names, a disco bouncy castle with a TV in it for all of the children, a huge pick and mix stand for those with a bit of a sweet tooth and an ice cream van! There really wasn't a box left unticked, but it was Mr and Mrs Hudson and all of their nearest and dearest who truly made this wedding unforgettable.

We felt so honoured to be the wedding entertainers at their magnificent wedding, so a MASSIVE thank you to Lauren and Chris. We wish you all the luck in the world for your future together!
